Greene pitched seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against Detroit on Saturday. He allowed three hits and issued two walks while striking out seven batters.

Greene was on his game Saturday, racking up 15 swinging strikes while holding the Tigers without an extra-base hit. He departed with a 2-0 lead but had to settle for a no-decision as a result of the Reds' bullpen allowing five runs in the eighth frame. Though he wasn't able to nab the win, Greene collected his seventh quality start of the season and lowered his ERA to 3.45. The seven punchouts gives him 116 on the campaign, tied for 11th-most in the majors.

Schwellenbach (2-4) allowed one run on seven hits and struck out six without walking a batter over six innings to earn the win over the Phillies on Saturday.

Schwellenbach earned his third quality start of the year after allowing four runs in each of his last two outings. The rookie right-hander limited the damage to a Trea Turner RBI single in the third inning, though Atlanta's lead was never threatened. Schwellenbach is still finding his footing in the majors with a 5.02 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB over 37.2 innings across seven starts, but outings like Saturday's show his potential. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Diamondbacks.

Suarez (10-3) allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings to take the loss versus Atlanta on Saturday.

Only three Atlanta batters got hits in the contest, but they each had two against Suarez. Ozzie Albies and Marcell Ozuna each homered and combined to drive in all five runs. Suarez has allowed 15 runs (13 earned) across 15.2 innings over his last three starts, accounting for three of the four times he's given up at least four runs this year. He's at a 2.58 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 106:23 K:BB through 108 innings over 18 starts. Suarez will look to end his early-summer swoon in a favorable home start versus the Athletics next week.

Chirinos allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Saturday.

Chirinos went five innings for the third time in his four starts this season. It was a fairly neutral performance for the right-hander, who is still looking for his first decision this season. He's maintained a 4.19 ERA with a 1.60 WHIP and 20:5 K:BB across 19.1 innings. Chirinos is projected to make his next start in Cincinnati -- a hitter-friendly park makes that a challenging matchup for the 30-year-old.

Harrison (4-4) allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out two over 3.1 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Guardians.

Harrison allowed three runs in the first inning and then gave up a solo home run to Steven Kwan in the second. While Harrison managed to settle down after that, he was done for the day after 72 pitches (44 strikes), providing little respite for an overworked bullpen. The southpaw missed nearly three weeks with a right ankle sprain but didn't require a rehab assignment. Harrison has a 4.24 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 70:26 K:BB over 80.2 innings through 15 starts this year. He's projected for a home start versus the Twins next week.

Pfaadt left Saturday's game against the Padres due to a left ankle contusion.

Pfaadt was hit in the ankle by a 98 mph comebacker in the fifth inning of his start and was immediately removed. The Diamondbacks have labeled the injury a bruised left ankle but expect Pfaadt to continue to be evaluated in the coming days. His next start is projected to come Thursday against Atlanta.

Pfaadt was removed from Saturday's game against the Padres after being struck in the foot by a comebacker in the fifth inning, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Luis Arraez hit a 98 mph comebacker at Pfaadt that ended up hitting the 25-year-old pitcher in the left foot/ankle area. Pfaadt allowed one run on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings prior to exiting. The Diamondbacks will likely send Pfaadt in for imaging and we should know more about his health postgame.

Rodriguez's (shoulder) MRI came back clean Saturday, and he's expected to throw a bullpen session soon, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Saturday's follow-up MRI confirmed that Rodriguez's shoulder has fully healed and marked the southpaw's final checkpoint to clear before beginning mound work. The 31-year-old hasn't pitched in 2024 and will require a lengthy ramp-up period that includes a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. Still, Rodriguez could be back in late July or early August.

The Padres placed Darvish (elbow) on the restricted list Saturday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Darvish has been on the injured list since the beginning of June due to a groin strain and right elbow inflammation, but he will now move to the restricted list as he deals with a personal matter. The Padres didn't provide any information regarding how long the 37-year-old might be away from the team.

Yamamoto (shoulder) will begin playing catch next week, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Yamamoto has been shut down from throwing since being diagnosed with a right rotator cuff strain June 16 but will resume a throwing program in the coming days. The 25-year-old is no longer feeling pain in his shoulder and seems to be on track for an August return.
