Medina (2-3) earned the win over Baltimore on Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and three walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

Oakland's offense decimated Baltimore pitching for 12 runs through three frames and for 19 runs overall, so Medina didn't have to deal with much stress in the outing. The right-hander notched only one 1-2-3 inning and needed 98 pitches to get through five frames, but he had plenty of cushion to work with and lasted just long enough to pick up his second victory of the campaign. Medina's 4.37 ERA on the season isn't very appealing, but he's built up some momentum by allowing just two runs across 11 frames over his past two starts.

Harrison (4-4) allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out two over 3.1 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Guardians.

Harrison allowed three runs in the first inning and then gave up a solo home run to Steven Kwan in the second. While Harrison managed to settle down after that, he was done for the day after 72 pitches (44 strikes), providing little respite for an overworked bullpen. The southpaw missed nearly three weeks with a right ankle sprain but didn't require a rehab assignment. Harrison has a 4.24 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 70:26 K:BB over 80.2 innings through 15 starts this year. He's projected for a home start versus the Twins next week.

Pfaadt left Saturday's game against the Padres due to a left ankle contusion.

Pfaadt was hit in the ankle by a 98 mph comebacker in the fifth inning of his start and was immediately removed. The Diamondbacks have labeled the injury a bruised left ankle but expect Pfaadt to continue to be evaluated in the coming days. His next start is projected to come Thursday against Atlanta.

Allen allowed two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out nine over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Saturday.

Allen failed to make it out of the fifth inning for the third start in a row. He matched his season high with four walks, and the nine strikeouts were also a season high, but they combined to work his pitch count up quickly. Allen has allowed 11 runs over 11.2 innings across his last three starts and now has a 5.67 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 76:35 K:BB through 87.1 innings over 18 starts this year. He's projected to make his next start at Detroit.

Pfaadt was removed from Saturday's game against the Padres after being struck in the foot by a comebacker in the fifth inning, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Luis Arraez hit a 98 mph comebacker at Pfaadt that ended up hitting the 25-year-old pitcher in the left foot/ankle area. Pfaadt allowed one run on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings prior to exiting. The Diamondbacks will likely send Pfaadt in for imaging and we should know more about his health postgame.

Anderson (8-8) earned the win over the Cubs on Saturday, allowing three hits and no walks while striking out 10 over eight scoreless innings.

Anderson was magnificent, generating an eye-popping 22 swinging strikes and a season-high 10 punchouts. He especially leaned on his changeup, throwing it 30 times and accumulating 11 whiffs. The southpaw responded from allowing a season-high six earned runs Sunday with his best outing of the year. He now owns a 2.81 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 77:47 K:BB over 112 innings this season and lines up for a home matchup with the Mariners next week.

Ryan (6-5) earned the win against the Astros on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Ryan surrendered a run in the third inning and a two-run homer in the fourth while receiving plenty of early run support from his teammates. He generated 15 swinging strikes on 110 pitches and has completed at least five frames in each of his 18 starts this season. On the year, the 28-year-old owns an impressive 3.29 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 118:16 K:BB through 109.1 innings and lines up to face the Giants next week.

Brown (6-6) took the loss against the Twins on Saturday, allowing seven runs on 12 hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings.

Brown entered Saturday on an impressive run of eight consecutive quality starts, but the Twins jumped him early for seven runs over the first three innings. He battled to finish with three scoreless frames but ultimately endured his worst outing since allowing six earned runs against Cleveland on April 30. The 25-year-old owns a 4.48 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 100:36 K:BB over 92.1 innings this season and will try to rebound against the Rangers next week.

Cole did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 14-4 win against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks with eight strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Cole allowed three runs in a 27-pitch third inning and was pulled in the fifth after surrendering a solo home run to Rafael Devers. The righty generated an impressive 14 swinging strikes and was pushed to 90 pitches for the second consecutive outing, but he labored at times and has now only completed five innings once in his first four starts of the season. The 33-year-old owns a 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 17.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Orioles next week.

Rodriguez's (shoulder) MRI came back clean Saturday, and he's expected to throw a bullpen session soon, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Saturday's follow-up MRI confirmed that Rodriguez's shoulder has fully healed and marked the southpaw's final checkpoint to clear before beginning mound work. The 31-year-old hasn't pitched in 2024 and will require a lengthy ramp-up period that includes a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list. Still, Rodriguez could be back in late July or early August.
