Astros' Kyle Tucker: Takes swings, could run soon
Tucker (shin) took swings off a tee Sunday and could be cleared to begin running soon, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Tucker's recovery from a right shin contusion has dragged on longer than anticipated, but it looks like he's finally turned a corner as he resumes baseball activities. He's more than three weeks removed from suffering the injury and still has some hoops to jump through, so he could require a rehab assignment before rejoining the Astros' active roster.

Astros' Kyle Tucker: Still no baseball activity
Tucker (shin) ran on a treadmill Friday but still has not resumed on-field work, MLB.com reports.
Manager Joe Espada was optimistic that Tucker would ramp up his activity over the weekend, though that has yet to occur. Tucker will likely miss the entirety of Houston's series against the Rockies to start next week.

Astros' Kyle Tucker: Aims for baseball activities soon
Astros manager Joe Espada said Thursday that he's hopeful Tucker (shin) will be ready to begin baseball activities this weekend, Casey Drottar of MLB.com reports.
Tucker's recovery from a right shin contusion has come along more slowly than expected, but he seems to have made some progress in recent days. Because he's already missed more than two weeks, Tucker could require a brief rehab assignment before returning from the 10-day injured list.

Tucker (lower leg) may require a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.
Manager Joe Espada relayed that Tucker is feeling better, including doing some work in the weight room. However, Espada also added that if Tucker isn't able to begin running within the next few days he will require a rehab assignment before being activated. If that were the case, his return may not come until late June.
