On the bench for the fourth time in six games, Fortes' standing atop the depth chart at catcher could be on shaky ground. Fortes looked to have gained some job security after the Marlins pushed Christian Bethancourt off their 40-man roster earlier this month, but Ali Sanchez has impressed with a .353 on-base percentage since getting called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on June 21. Sanchez will get another turn behind the plate Sunday at Fortes' expense.
Gordon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Phillies.
The outfielder opened the scoring in the second inning by taking Aaron Nola deep. Gordon has hit safely in each of his last seven games, but through 21 contests in June he's still batting a sluggish .234 (15-for-64) with two of his eight homers and eight of his 29 RBI on the season.

Munoz came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Phillies, giving up two runs on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.
The rookie right-hander exited the game after 79 pitches (50 strikes) in line for his fourth loss, despite the fact the Munoz allowed fewer than three runs for only the second time in his last six starts. A late rally by the Marlins took him off the hook, however. Munoz will take a 5.58 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 38:20 K:BB through 40.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the White Sox.
Sanchez will serve as Miami's designated hitter and bat fourth Saturday against the Phillies, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Sanchez was left out of the Marlins' initial lineup for Saturday's contest, but he'll now enter the starting nine after Vidal Brujan (undisclosed) was scratched. Sanchez has gone 9-for-36 with three home runs, six RBI and six runs scored over his last 10 games.
