The Cavaliers were already hurting at center after Tyler Zeller's face injury. And now Wednesday they're thinner than a runway model.

The team announced prior to Cleveland's game against Golden State that center Anderson Varejao would be inactive due to a sore knee. That leaves the Cavs with officially zero active centers on the roster.

The injury happened early in Cleveland's Monday night win over the Clippers. Varejao continued to play in that game and finished so it's likely he's being held out just for precautionary reasons.

They do have a couple capable power forwards, including Trisan Thompson and Samardo Samuels, so there are options there. But if Varejao's injury lingers, coupled with Zeller being out indefinitely, the Cavs could have an interesting few weeks.
