Phil Jackson loves The Machine.

Jackson brought back his old Lakers wing Sasha Vujacic last year and at times, he was OK. He eventually slid down in the rotation as his skill level isn't where it needs to be on either end of the floor, but he's someone who can fill in and produce from time to time as a spot-player. With the Knicks reloading with big-name acquisitions like Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, Jackson has once again turned to Vujacic to take up a roster spot.

At 32 years old, Vujacic doesn't offer much, and he shot just 38 percent from the field last year, but he did hit 36 percent from beyond the arc in just under 15 minutes per game.

Clearly Jackson values what Vujacic can bring as a vet to a roster looking to make a playoff push next season, and on a one-year deal, there's no harm done.
