  • Brice Johnson: Signs with French club

Johnson agreed to terms with Corale Roanne on Saturday, Sportando.com reports.

The No. 25 overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft will take his talents to France for the remainder of the 2020 season. He last saw action stateside in the 2017-18 season, where he appeared in 18 games for the Clippers and Grizzlies, averaging 2.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 5.4 minutes per contest.

  • Brice Johnson: Waived by Memphis

Johnson was waived by the Grizzlies on Tuesday in order to make room for MarShon Brooks' 10-day contract.

Johnson was traded to the Grizzlies in exchange for James Ennis earlier in the season, though didn't play a significant role once arriving. He appeared in nine games, averaging 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds across 6.7 minutes. It's possible the former late-first-round draft pick latches on with a 10-day deal somewhere else this season, though there is also a strong possibility we may have to wait until next season to see him again.

  • Grizzlies' Brice Johnson: DNP-Coach's Decision in Wednesday's loss

Johnson did not see the floor during Wednesday's 119-110 loss to the Bulls.

Johnson has been a healthy scratch in each of the last two games, combining for a grand total of 28 minutes in his four appearances since being dealt to the Grizzlies prior to the trade deadline. Unless this trend reverses in the very near future, Johnson can safely be left on the waiver wire.

  • Grizzlies' Brice Johnson: Recalled from G-League

Johnson was recalled from the G-League's Memphis Hustle on Wednesday.

Johnson has not appeared in a game for the Grizzlies since being traded to the team from the Clippers. In 26 G-League games this season for three different teams, he's averaged 13.3 points and 9.4 rebounds across 27.5 minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Brice Johnson: Notches double-double in G League

Johnson provided 17 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals during Thursday's loss at Sioux Falls.

The North Carolina product has fluctuated between leagues and teams lately but in his last seven G-League games, he has been able to produce a double-double in six of those, including Tuesday. During that span, Johnson is averaging monster numbers of 18.0 points and 12.6 rebounds. The 23-year-old has proven that no matter what team he is on, he is capable of generating outstanding performances.

  • Grizzlies' Brice Johnson: Dealt to Grizzlies

Johnson was traded to the Grizzlies on Thursday for James Ennis, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Midway through his second NBA season, Brice Johnson has appeared in just 12 NBA games and has now been traded for a second time after being part of the deal that sent Blake Griffin to the Pistons. This appears to be a rebuilding Grizzlies team taking a chance on a young player in Johnson, but with the team already having a multitude of young frontcourt players in its rotation, it's hard to see where Johnson could find minutes this season. So, as a result, Johnson will likely continue spending majority of the regular season in the G-League.

  • Pistons' Brice Johnson: Assigned to G-League

Johnson was assigned to the G-League's Grand Rapids Drive, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.

Johnson was acquired from the Clippers in the trade that brought Blake Griffin to the Pistons, though it appears coach Stan Van Gundy might not have an immediate use for him. As a result, he'll be sent down to the G-League to probably see some run with the Drive.

  • Pistons' Brice Johnson: Available Thursday vs. Grizzlies

Johnson is available to make his Pistons debut Thursday against Memphis, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports.

It's unclear what kind of role Johnson will play with his new team. He appeared in just nine games for the Clippers, posting 1.8 points and 1.4 rebounds across 4.2 minutes per game.

  • Pistons' Brice Johnson: Not playing Tuesday

Johnson, who was acquired from the Clippers on Monday, won't suit up in Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.

Along with Johnson, Blake Griffin and Willie Reed, who were also dealt to the Pistons, will be in street clothes, as the team likely targets Thursday's game against the Grizzlies or Saturday's game against the Heat for the trio to make their debuts. During his time with the Clippers, Johnson spent the bulk of the season in the G League and hadn't appeared at the NBA level since Dec. 18, and his outlook isn't likely to change much in Detroit. Look for Johnson to remain on the outside of head coach Stan Van Gundy's rotation.

  • Pistons' Brice Johnson: Dealt to Detroit

Johnson has been traded to Detroit, along with Blake Griffin and Willie Reed in exchange for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic and a first-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Johnson was merely a throw-in, as the real prize for the Pistons was All-Star Blake Griffin. After seeing action in only nine games with the Clippers, Johnson still doesn't have a direct path to playing time, so despite the change in scenery, he should still remain off the fantasy radar. Look for Johnson to slot in as depth in the frontcourt behind Griffin, Andre Drummond, Anthony Tolliver and Eric Moreland.

  • Clippers' Brice Johnson: Returns from G-League

Johnson was recalled from the G-League on Sunday, Elliott Teaford of Southern California News Group reports.

Johnson has spent a large chunk of his season thus far in the G-League, playing in 17 games and averaging 11.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 block across 27.1 minutes. However, he'll earn the call-up to the big club ahead of Monday's game against the Hawks. The likelihood of Johnson seeing the floor in that contest is small and he's not someone to target for fantasy purposes considering he's yet to see double-digit minutes in a game with the Clippers this season.

Johnson was recalled from the G League's Agua Caliente Clippers on Sunday, Kevin Baxter of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Johnson was active for the Clippers' game Sunday against the Heat, but didn't play in the contest. He's appeared in just three of the Clippers' nine games to date, seeing no more than seven minutes in any of them.
