  • Suns' Bol Bol: To return to Suns

Bol will return to the Suns on a one-year deal, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

  • Suns' Royce O'Neale: Sticking around in Phoenix

O'Neale is expected to sign a four-year, $44 million deal to return to the Suns when free agency officially opens July 6, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The Suns acquired O'Neale on Feb. 8, and he averaged 8.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 0.9 steals across 25.0 minutes in 30 regular-season games for the team. The 31-year-old also shot an efficient 37.6 percent from deep in that span. Even with Phoenix fizzling out in the playoffs with a first-round exit and the team having since replaced Frank Vogel as head coach with Mike Budenholzer, O'Neale is still viewed as a core rotational piece for the club heading into 2024-25.

The Suns signed Buie to an Exhibit 10 contract Thursday.

Buie spent five years at Northwestern and averaged 19.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 34 appearances during the 2023-24 campaign. He will now compete for a roster spot in Phoenix.

  • Suns' Josh Okogie: Exercising player option

Okogie plans to exercise his $2.96 million player for the 2024-25 season to remain with the Suns, Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports reports.

Okogie had a reduced role for Phoenix during the 2023-24 campaign, averaging 4.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16.0 minutes in 60 games. The 25-year-old finished the season without a spot in former coach Frank Vogel's rotation, but Okogie could re-establish himself under new coach Mike Budenholzer.

  • Suns' Tyrese Samuel: Signs deal with Suns

Samuel signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Suns on Thursday, Nick Marcinko of gatorcountry.com reports.

After spending four years at Seton Hall, Samuel spent his final collegiate season at Florida with a lot of success. Across 36 appearances, he posted averages of 13.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.1 steals. Samuel will be with the Suns for training camp but isn't a lock to make the final roster.

  • Suns' Jalen Bridges: Agrees to two-way deal with Suns

Bridges agreed to a two-way contract with the Suns on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The Suns have roughly $184.5 million in committed contracts amongst their starting five, so management will need to get creative in filling out the rest of their roster, meaning Bridges could find his way into the rotation this season. The 6-foot-7 forward is a physically gifted athlete, and he drained 42 percent of his three-point attempts during his final season at Baylor, so he has potential to develop into a 3-and-D guy for Phoenix.

  • Suns' Oso Ighodaro: Drafted by Phoenix

The Suns drafted Ighodaro with the No. 40 overall pick in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Ighodaro spent the last four years at Marquette before declaring for the NBA Draft. As a senior in 2023-24, he averaged 13.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.1 steals in 36 games. At 6-10, Ighodaro has the size and all-around skillset to contribute right away in the frontcourt, likely making him the backup center to Jusuf Nurkic.

  • Suns' Ryan Dunn: Lands with Suns at No. 28

Dunn was selected by the Suns with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

The sophomore out of Virginia is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in the draft. At 6-foot-6 with a wingspan north of 7-foot-1, Dunn can guard multiple positions and is an excellent rim protector for his size. Last season, Dunn posted 1.3 steals and 2.3 blocks per game in 27.5 minutes to go with 8.1 points and 6.9 rebounds. At this stage, Dunn's offensive game is limited, but the Suns won't ask him to do much on that end.
